The Ame Commitment

RESERVATIONS

Guests may be asked to provide a credit card to reserve appointment times or to provide a deposit for certain services. Our Salon/Spa software provides the highles level of security in storing credit card information.

ARRIVAL

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your salon or spa appointment. If this is your first visit to Ame, plan to arrive 20-30 minutes before your appointment (parking and new guest forms).

PARKING

Ame Salon and Spa has 5 complimentary parking spaces located to the left of our building on a first-come, first-served basis. If the parking spaces are occupied, there is public parking surrounding our building.

PUNCTUALITY

Time is a very precious commodity. Late arrival for an appointment may result in an adjustment to your service so that we don’t run late for our next guest.

CANCELLATIONS or NO SHOWS

Ame requires a credit card for all reservations.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require a 24 hour notice.  If this notice is not given, the reserved card will be charged a 50% reservation fee.

Please understand that when you cancel your reservation without the appropriate amount of time,  or no-show,  you take away the opportunity for your service provider to fill that space.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our Reservation Policy.

ILLNESS

We recommend if you are sick and/or running a fever that you reschedule your salon or spa appointment.

TWO-WAY TEXTING AVAILABLE FOR DAY OF APPOINTMENT COMMUNICATIONS

PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Personal checks are accepted with identification and are subject to a $25 return check fee.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are at the discretion of our guests and are much appreciated. Our service providers appreciate you thanking them for the service they provided. We have envelopes here for you to leave them a gratuity. Gratuities may be accepted in cash or Venmo.

GIFT CARDS

They always make the perfect gift. Simply apply a dollar amount of your choice, and the recipient chooses which services they like. As an added convenience, you may order your Ame Gift Certificate online. Gift Cards must be present at the time of redemption. Ame Gift Cards may be used for purchasing products or services only. Gift Cards are not redeemable for gratuities, cash, or credit. Ame cannot accept responsibility for cards lost or damaged or any unauthorized use of cards. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. Gift Cards must be present at the time of redemption/payment. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Ame does not accept Spa Finder or Spa Week gift cards.

AMENITIES

For spa appointments, upon request, we provide ladies’ and men’s kimonos, and slippers. Showers are available and are equipped with towels, body wash, hair shampoo & conditioner, and hair dryers in both locker areas.

CHILDREN

In consideration of guests seeking a peaceful atmosphere, we do not permit children under the age of 13 to the spa floor. Children of ages 6 and older are permitted in the salon only for their haircut service.

CELL PHONES

Cell phones are permitted in our spa for access to the internet or apps. The phone should be set to silent. Talking on your cell phone is not permitted on the spa floor. Talking on your cell phone on the salon floor is discouraged. If you must take a call, please be mindful of your tone and your fellow guests of Ame.

RE-DO’S

If for any reason you are not happy with the result of your hair,  Please call or speak with an Ame Salon and Spa coordinator to assist you.  Our team will be happy to make small adjustments within 2 weeks or less of when service was given.

We pride ourselves on our work & our goal is to ultimately make you, our client,  happy.

We do not offer5 refunds on services.  Thank You

DAMAGE AND LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY

We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to your personal articles. Wearing your favorite shirt or dress? Hang it up! We provide and highly encourage a color smock with every color, However, even with a smock, there’s always a risk of color passing onto the clothes. Please protect your clothing by leaving them at home or on the hangar. Ame Salon and Spa will not be held liable for any staining or damages to clothing.

For your spa visit, please leave your jewelry so you don’t have to think about where to put it.
